Winds of Change, a well-respected mental health facility situated in Missoula, MT, is actively searching for a committed and proficient Nurse Practitioner Psychiatrist to become part of our caring team. In this role, you will be an essential asset in delivering outstanding patient care and fostering wellness within our community. Your responsibilities will include administering comprehensive healthcare services, performing patient evaluations, diagnosing medical conditions, and proposing appropriate treatment plans. We provide a competitive hourly wage of up to $50 (experience-dependent) and a supportive work atmosphere that encourages personal and professional growth. • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history
• Perform diagnostic tests to diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on proper medication administration and potential side effects
• Respond to pharmacy and refill requests accordingly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes
• Proficient in electronic records and documentation
• Performing and giving psychotherapy for the treatment of conditionsQualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Valid Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills in primary care
