2022Job Summary:The Risk and Compliance Manager collaborates with
RMEF teams to foster a risk aware culture focused on proactively
identifying, assessing and managing risk. This position facilitates
the organization's enterprise risk management program, contract
management process, and leads RMEF's compliance with local, state,
and federal regulations pertaining to charitable registrations and
charitable gaming. - -In addition, this position manages RMEF's
insurance policies to ensure that policies adequately address
insurable risk. -This position is located at our Headquarters in
Missoula, MT. Essential Functions: 1. - - - - - -Facilitate regular
updates of RMEF's Enterprise Risk Management analysis to identify
and assess organizational risk. -2. - - - - -Collaborate with
departments to develop policies, procedures, or best practices for
managing identified risk where appropriate.3. - - - - -Assist in
the development, implementation and on-going administration of
contract management policies and procedures regarding workflows,
review and storage of contracts.4. - - - - -Facilitate RMEF's
contract management processes per approved policies and procedures.
Identify contractual risks and notify appropriate individuals as
needed.5. - - - - -Lead RMEF's compliance reporting activities,
including but not limited to charitable registration requirements,
corporate annual reports, unclaimed property reports, and
charitable gaming licenses and reports. -6. - - - - -Prepare and
submit accurate reports, for compliance areas noted above, on a
timely basis to ensure RMEF remains in good standing.7. - - - -
-Research emerging compliance issues, where applicable, and
identify strategies to prevent noncompliance in the immediate and
long-term future where appropriate. -8. - - - - -Manage RMEF's
insurance policies to ensure that policies adequately protect RMEF
and its employees and volunteers from insurable risk.9. - - - -
-Collaborate with departments to ensure events and activities
requiring additional coverage are identified and obtain necessary
and appropriate insurance coverage in a timely manner.10. -
-Support the Executive Team in developing a risk aware culture
across the organization.11. - - - -Responsible for other tasks or
duties as assigned. -Education and Experience:A Bachelor's or
master's degree in business, law, or a relevant field. -A minimum
of five years of experience in insurance, regulatory compliance,
risk management, contract management, or related field. -Must be a
Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or be willing to obtain certification
within one year of start date. Other certifications in insurance,
risk management or nonprofit compliance may be considered in lieu
of a CRM. -Must be willing to obtain additional certifications or
training as needed. -Strong ability to collaborate with diverse
teams and to manage, mentor, support and motivate teams without
direct supervision responsibilities.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:1.

proprietary information in a sensitive and professional manner.10.
- -Strong word processing/computer skills, including knowledge of
Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.11. - - - -Ability to represent
RMEF in a professional manner. -Physical Demands:The employee must
sit or stand for long periods of time; use a computer terminal;
reach forward and to the side; bend from both standing and sitting
