Description Title: Senior Operations ManagerLocation: Missoula, MontanaWhat will you do?The Senior Operations Manager will direct the daily activities of the Fleet Managers and Assistant Fleet Managers for the region. The Terminal Manager will direct fleet operations and processes for the region on multiple shifts. This includes the management of the utilization of assets and fleet personnel to control costs and maximize delivery performance. This position will be responsible for the overall planned activities, methods, and controls to meet quality, cost, and safety standards as well as investigate and resolve scheduling and performance problems internally and externally for the region. TheSenior Operations Managerwill be responsible to, develop, implement and driving improvements and/or modifications of systems, processes, methods, and resource utilization, and ensuring driver concerns are reviewed and addressed. This Senior Operations Managerwill interact with the leadership team and staff of other departments within the Company as well as outside representatives, including customers and carriers.What Do You Need?Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience10 years in an Operations Role within a Trucking CompanySupervisory/Management ExperienceLean Manufacturing and Continuous Quality Improvement principles and system Improvement MethodsCapacity planning and product flow
