DescriptionThe CNA/Mental Health Technician performs assigned
tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as
assessed by the RN. The CNA/Mental Health Tech supports nursing
personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with
providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment for nursing
care delivery. Job duties must be performed in a manner consistent
with St. Patrick Hospital's Mission as demonstrated by the core
values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Service and Teamwork.
Assists in maintaining a therapeutic milieu environment, provides
safety, leads recreational groups, patient skills groups as
assigned.Required qualifications:
- Montana Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon
hire.
- Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months (180 days) of
hire.Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a hospital setting.
- Prior experience in a psych unit.
