Job Description:
Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to
$4,000.00.
Sign-on bonus eligibility: -Open to external applicates who have
not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9
months.
This is a TPD (0.2 Status), day shift Registered Nurse position in
the Labor & Delivery Department.
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning,
implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from
admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides
expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts
as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease
processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages
patient loads in assigned timelines.
Minimum Required: -RN License required. Three to Five (3 to 5)
years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required. BLS
for Healthcare Provider upon hire and NRP and ACLS within six (6)
months of hire. AWHONN FHM and STABLE within the first year. -
Proficiency in English, verbal and written communication skills,
and computer skills required.
Preferred/Desired: - BSN Preferred. Prefer RNC-OB and/or RNC-EFM
Certification. -
Weekend Requirements: Per MNA Contract.
