Job Description:
Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to
$30,000.00.
Sign-on bonus eligibility: open to external applicates who have not
been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), night shift Registered
Nurse position in the Mother/Baby Department.
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning,
implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from
admission to the department through discharge or transfer. -
Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical
setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for
assistive personnel. - The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing
procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological
agents. - Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
Minimum Required: - RN License required. NRP, and BLS for
Healthcare Provider upon hire. One (1) year recent Mother/Baby
experience. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication
skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred/Desired: - BSN Preferred. Prefer RNC-OB preferred. -
Lactation experience and Charge experience preferred. Specialty
Certification and Special Care Nursery/GYN experience
preferred.
Weekend Requirements: Per MNA Contract.
