Job Description:

This is a TPD (0.2 Status), day shift Registered Nurse position in the APSI Flouro Suite.The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Completes the pre-anesthesia assessment in preparation for scheduled surgical procedures. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model for peers and assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, surgical procedures, interventions and pharmacological agents.Minimum Required: RN License required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire. Must have recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience required within the last two (2) years. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills required.Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred.Prefer experience in outpatient surgery setting or surgeon office setting.Prefer CAPA certification.Weekend Requirements: No.CMC is located on a 45-acre campus in Missoula, Montana.
