Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $20,000.00.Sign-on bonus eligibility:Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), day shift Registered Nurse position in the Surgery department.The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the perioperative setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in all surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.Minimum Required: RN License required, BSN Preferred. BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS within 3 months of hire. OR RN experience required. Must have recent experience within last five years in the perioperative field. Must complete moderate sedation course within 3 months of hire. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.Preferred / Desired: Prefer CNOR Certification. OR Charge Nurse experience preferred. Radiology experience preferred. Cardiac Monitoring experience preferred.On Call / Weekend Requirements: Per MNA Contract.CMC is located on a 45-acre campus in Missoula, Montana.
