Job Description:
Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $10,000.00
with a two (2) year commitment to the role.This is a full time (0.8
- 1.0 status), night shift Nurse Residency Program position in the
ICU Department.The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing,
planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of acute
patients from admission to the department through discharge or
transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the
clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor
for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing
procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological
agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.This program is
intended for the nurse who does not yet have acute care experience.
This could be a new graduate RN or a nurse who has only outpatient
experience. The Nurse Residency Program at CMC is a 12-month RN
apprenticeship with a strong focus on transition to practice,
teamwork, and resiliency. This position is for the Winter 2024 New
Graduate Residency cohort, with a program start date of February
19, 2024. Application review and interviews will be completed in
December 2023 with offers to follow.Minimum Required:RN License
required. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire. Proficient in
English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer
skills required. Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred.Weekend
Requirements: Every third weekend.CMC is located on a 45-acre
campus in Missoula, Montana. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains of
western Montana, between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks.
