Job Description:
Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $10,000.00
with a two (2) year commitment to the role. Sign-on bonus
eligibility: -Open to external applicates who have not been
previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months. This is a
Nurse Residency Program position in the New Graduate Residency
Cohort. This program is intended for the nurse who does not yet
have acute care experience. - This could be a new graduate RN or a
nurse who has only outpatient experience. - The Nurse Residency
Program at CMC is a 12-month RN program with a strong focus on
nursing best practice, teamwork, and resiliency. - This position is
for the Summer 2024 New Graduate Residency cohort, with a program
start date in July -2024. - - Qualifying applicants will have the
opportunity to be assigned into one of the available Residency
positions in areas that may include Med/Surg, ICU, RNU, Labor &
Delivery, NICU, Emergency, Extended Stay, and/or Float Pool. The RN
utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing
and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to
the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care
and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a
patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes,
interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in
assigned timelines. Minimum Required: - RN License required. BLS
for Healthcare Provider upon hire. Proficient in English, verbal
and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred / Desired: BSN Preferred. - Weekend Requirements: Every
