Job Description:
Sign-On Bonus: External applicants eligible for up to $15,000.
Sign-on bonus eligibility: -Open to external applicates who have
not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), day shift Procedural Float
Nurse position in the Nurse Float Pool. Primarily responsible for
nursing care in procedural areas, including but not limited to
Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy. Four ten-hour day shifts
per week; two days in Endoscopy and two days in Interventional
Radiology, with variable start times. The RN utilizes the nursing
process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing
care of patients from admission to department through discharge or
transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in
clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor
for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical
nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and
pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned
timelines. Minimum Required: - RN License required. One (1) year
current experience in critical care, ED, procedural or surgical
areas. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire and ACLS within six
(6) months of hire. Must have one (1) year of Acute Care
experience. - Proficient in English, verbal and written
communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred/Desired: - BSN Preferred. Prefer two (2) to five (5)
years of Acute Care experience. Weekend Requirements: - IR on-call
every third weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun), plus 1-2 weeknights. Work -
