Current state RN licenseAssociate's degree from an accredited nursing schoolBLS for Healthcare Provider upon hireACLS upon hireTwo (2) or more years of Cath Lab experience required -Preferred qualifications:
BSN PreferredFour (4) years of Cath Lab, Cardiovascular, Critical Care or Emergency nursing experience -Additional Information/Department information: The RN coordinates all patient care activities in the Heart Center Cath Lab. The nursing process is used in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of cardiology patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to Cardiology patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor and positive role model for assistive personnel. Knowledge of cardiovascular clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions and pharmacological agents is essential.
