Mother/Baby Registered Nurse (RN) Status/FTE:FT / 0.8-1.0 FTE
Shift length:12 hours Start Time:1900 Unit:Mother/Baby Schedule
Requirements (including weekends, holidays):3-12 hour shifts
weekly, every third weekend and holidays by rotation Required
qualifications: - Current state RN license - Associate's degree
from an accredited nursing school - BLS for Healthcare Provider
upon hire - NRP and STABLE upon hire - Three (3) to Five (5) years'
experience in Postpartum or Special Care Nursery Preferred
qualifications: - BSN Preferred - Experience in high risk and
special care nursery - Charge experience - Certification in a
maternal specialty (Inpatient OB, Maternal Newborn Nursing)
Additional Information/Department information:The RN utilizes the
nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating
the nursing care of patients from admission to the department
through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education
to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate,
leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable
in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions,
and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned
