Senior Surgical Technician-Cardiothoracic Surgery MT at
Providence summary: The Senior Surgical Technician in
Cardiothoracic Surgery prepares and maintains the sterile field,
assists surgeons and surgical team members during procedures, and
ensures proper care and function of all operating room equipment.
The role requires an Associate's Degree in a Surgical Tech program,
national certification, and basic life support certification. This
position supports patient-focused care in a hospital setting with

Description The primary duties of the Surgical Technician include:
being prepared for and knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to
be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile field,
anticipate and assist surgeon as necessary, work with circulating
nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintain familiarity,
function and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The
Surgical Technician initiates responsibility for care of specimens

Qualifications: Associate's Degree - Surgical Tech program.
National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of
Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire. National
Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred
