CT technologist – Rad Diagnostic at Providence summary: The CT
Technologist performs radiographic procedures under the direction
of a radiologist, applying ionizing radiation safely to assist in
diagnostic imaging. This role requires independent judgment,
adherence to safety standards, and maintaining clinical
competencies while providing patient-centered care. The position
includes shifts, on-call duties, and participation in departmental
administrative tasks within a healthcare setting. Description

The CT Technologist, under the direction of a radiologist, performs
radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant
supervision. The CT Technologist will provide services timely and
efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all
settings served by the department. This requires independent
judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing
radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis, whether
scheduled or emergent, while providing radiation protection
according to prescribed safety standards. The CT Technologist will
also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Radiology
Department's Policy and Procedures Manual; will assist in assigned
administrative tasks and will maintain clinical competencies
through participation in educational and orientation programs.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire:
National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists Within 1 year of hire National
Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography, or Within 1 year of
hire National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
Technology Certification Board Preferred Qualifications: 1 year

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range
for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
