Job Description:
Medical Assistant - Behavioral Health at Providence Health and
Services summary: The Medical Assistant II provides clinical
support in behavioral health under a licensed practitioner's
delegation, including vital sign collection and medication
administration. This role requires clinical training, relevant work
experience, and certifications such as BLS and preferably National
Medical Assistant Certification. The position is full-time, on-site
at Providence Medical Group Montana, emphasizing patient-centered
care within a multidisciplinary healthcare organization.
Description The MA II works unders the delegation of a licensed
practioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing
patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of
the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical
needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is
expected to perform in accordance with established policies,
procedures, and regulations. Providence caregivers are not simply

Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited
school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for
medical assistants or Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered
medical assistant apprenticeship program or Coursework/Training:
Has completed two years of medical training in the United States
Armed Forces or Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work
experience as a medical assistant that includes the following
clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections,
and medication administration National Provider BLS - American
Heart Association upon hire 6 months of Healthcare experience 6
months of Medical Assistant experience Preferred Qualifications:

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job

pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
