American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology
Technologist with at least 1 year of angiography or vascular
experience and current ARRT (R) and AHA BLS certifications. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Work in an interventional radiology unit
specializing in angiography and neuro-interventional procedures -
Perform a variety of procedures including SIRT mapping/treatments,
embolizations, neph tube and biliary tube placements, CT-guided
drains, biopsies, ablations, and neuro-IR stroke diagnostics - Use
IR and imaging equipment with adherence to radiation safety
guidelines - Document procedures and patient information using Epic
EMR (prior Epic experience required) - Day shifts, 10 hours per
day, 4 days per week - Responsibilities include completing
angiography procedures, scrubbing, circulating, setting techniques,
and imaging with strict patient identification and safety protocols
- Assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures,
ensuring proper use of supplies and equipment - Must utilize or
obtain personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) for the
duration of the assignment - Must maintain up-to-date licensure,
certifications, and required documentation throughout the contract
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility
for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Dress code and supplies must comply with department and radiation
safety standards /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year
experience in interventional radiology or angiography is required -
Current ARRT (R) certification - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification that will not expire prior to start date - Ability to
operate imaging and IR equipment and maintain accurate
documentation - Experience in vascular, angiography, and
neuro-interventional procedures - Active state license required if
applicable - Must provide DOB and last 4 digits of SSN for
