Traveler is hiring a Pediatric/NICU Dietitian for an acute care
setting, requiring 2 years of inpatient pediatric and NICU
experience along with BLS, RD/RDN certification, and a Montana
Nutritionist License. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a
pediatric and NICU acute care setting with 12 Pediatric/PICU beds
and 12 NICU beds - Patient population includes pediatric and
neonatal patients with GI issues, feeding difficulties, TPN needs,
and various metabolic and respiratory conditions - Day shift with
10-hour shifts, no nights or weekends required, and some scheduling
flexibility - No on-call or holiday coverage required - Could float
to cover other inpatient units with adult patients as needed - Uses
Meditech EMR (experience preferred), Volt messaging app, and Crib
Notes for NICU - No weekend or holiday rotation required -
Responsibilities include conducting nutritional assessments,
developing and adjusting care plans, and providing nutrition
support for pediatric and neonatal patients with complex care needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs, RNs,
respiratory therapists, hospitalists, intensivists, and other
dietitians - Support from other hospital staff is available around
the clock - Orientation includes NEO and two days of departmental
unit training - Any solid-colored scrubs or business casual attire
is accepted - First-time travelers will be considered, though
experience is preferred /n /n Requirements/n - Active BLS
certification - Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian
Nutritionist (RDN) credentials - Montana Nutritionist License
required - Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical experience in pediatric
acute care and NICU settings - Inpatient and NICU nutrition
experience including NFPE/malnutrition assessment and infant
nutrition support - CNSC or other applicable certification
preferred - Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred /n Benefits/n -
