We are seeking an Internal Medicine - Cardiology specialist to provide exceptional locum coverage at a reputable healthcare facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to community health while maintaining a flexible schedule tailored to your expertise. What You Will Do: Provide comprehensive cardiology services primarily in hospital and clinic settings based on shifting needs Engage in scheduled outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and diagnostic echocardiography readings Participate in a flexible call schedule, including weekend 24-hour call coverage, mostly via phone consultations Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care throughout your assignment Required Skills: Valid medical license with board certification or eligibility in cardiology and internal medicine Proven experience in clinical cardiology, including echocardiography interpretation and inpatient management Strong diagnostic and patient management skills with excellent communication abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Nice to Have Skills: Experience in hospitalist or outpatient cardiology services Familiarity with echocardiography equipment and interpretation software Prior locum or temporary staffing experience in hospital or clinic settings Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of clinical cardiology experience, preferably in hospital environment Current BLS, ACLS certifications Other Requirements: Availability to start on 01/06/2026 for an ongoing contract Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and night shifts as scheduled Compensation includes licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable reimbursements This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional portfolio while enjoying a supportive work environment.
