Locum Tenens Opportunity ??? Cardiologist (Near Dixon, MT) A medical facility near Dixon, Montana is currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens position. This opportunity allows you to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, assisting a community in need while exploring the natural beauty of Montana. Here are the details: Position Highlights: Location: Near Dixon, Montana Type of Care: Both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care Practice Setting: Includes clinical hours plus on-call duties Call Response Time: 20 minutes Patients per Shift: 9-12 patients Privileges: Hospital privileges required Key Responsibilities: Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures such as: Echocardiography Transesophageal Echo (TEE) Nuclear cardiology PA catheter placement Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic) Invasive procedures like STEMI care On-call duties will involve both phone consultations and patient follow-ups. Required Qualifications: Board Certification: Yes (Internal Medicine - Cardiology) Fellowship: Preferred Must be comfortable handling both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services. Ability to handle a range of cases, from routine echocardiography to invasive diagnostic cardiology. Experience with Epic EMR system is beneficial.
