Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/22/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active MT or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) - 13-week contract - Med/Surg unit in a regional hospital setting - Epic EMR used for charting - Floating to other departments may be required based on business need - On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required - Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for Med/Surg patients - Duties include health teaching, health counseling, reviewing treatment plans, and documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines - Candidates who have worked permanently at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment /n /n Requirements/n - Active MT or compact RN license — no pending licenses accepted - Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required - ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred - Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to assignment start - ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for unit - Epic EMR experience - DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-677497.
