Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Billings, Montana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 16, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an RN with at least one year of Labor & Delivery experience and a valid MT or compact RN license for a night shift role. Details - Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit - Night shifts with 12-hour schedule, three shifts per week - Care for laboring mothers and newborns in a busy inpatient setting - Uses EPIC for charting and documentation - May be required to float to other departments within scope and qualifications - On-call responsibilities may be required during regularly scheduled shifts Requirements - Active RN license for Montana or compact states required and must be in hand before consideration - At least one year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required; BSN preferred - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required - ACLS, NRP, or other certifications appropriate for the unit preferred - EPIC EMR experience preferred Additional Information - Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum processes - Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care - Perform health teaching, therapy, and restorative care as needed - May supervise or teach others as part of daily work - Must comply strictly with all hospital documentation and regulatory requirements - Holiday coverage may be required per hospital policy - Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-674407.
