Job Description:
Registered Nurse (RN) Post Partum Status/FTE: PT / 0.6 Shift
length: 12 hours Start Time: 1900 Unit: Mother/Baby - Post Partum
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Two (2)-12hr
shifts per week, rotating weekends Required qualifications: Current
state RN license Associate's degree from an accredited nursing
school BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire PALS within six (6)
months of hire One (1) year of mother/baby or labor experience
Preferred qualifications: BSN Pediatric certification PICU
experience Additional Information/Department information: The RN
utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and
evaluating nursing care of pediatric patients from admission to
department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and
education to patients in clinical setting, acts as patient
advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable
in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions,
and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned
