DescriptionThis is an -full time (0.8 - -1.0 -Status) day shift HR
Business Partner position in the Human Resources department.Fosters
a positive environment which embodies the core values of community
Medical Center of Honesty, Integrity and Trustworthiness, and Legal
and Ethical Compliance. Possess a functional knowledge to perform
all aspect of Human Resources which includes, Recruitment,
Onboarding, Orientation, Compensation, HRIS administration,
Performance Management, Benefits and Leave administration. Working
with employees to address employee relations issues. Gather
preliminary information for potential investigations and grievances
and review with Executive Director to determine next steps Oversees
recognition programs and development of employee engagement
initiatives. Provide guidance to employees and leaders on how to
proactively address and resolve issues.Leads all day-to-day HR
related activities and office operations. Participates in the
implementation of hospital -wide initiatives, trainings, process
improvements, and programs. Maintains all electronic and paper
employee records according to State and Federal requirements.
Evaluates, recommends, and coordinates training for employees and
leaders. Assures compliance with all local, State, and Federal
employment laws, making proactive recommendations when potential
issues are identified or arise. Maintains a high level of
professionalism on confidentiality of employee and/or hospital
information. Processes, tracks, and maintains leaves of absence,
including FMLA and Workers Compensation as needed in conjunction
with Employee Health. Serves as a contact for union and non-union
employees regarding contract administration questions, human
resources policies, grievances procedures. Acts as a mentor and
guides the work for HR and Recruitment Specialist.Minimum
Requirements: -Associate's Degree in a related field and five (5)
years Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of
education and experience required. Excellent organizational,
communication and interpersonal skills. Effective written and
verbal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
applications are required. Hospital/healthcare Knowledge of ERISA
Benefits program's Development and implementation of Compensation
plans.Preferred/Desired: -HR experience preferred. HR Certification
(SHRM-SCP or SPHR) certification preferred. -CMC is located on a
45-acre campus in Missoula, Montana. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains
of western Montana, between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks.
