Sign-On Bonus: -External applicants eligible for up to -$15,000.00.
Sign-on bonus eligibility: -Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
This is a full-time (0.8 - 1.0 Status), night -shift Innovative Call Registered Nurse position in the PACU department.
The RN utilizes nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in PACU setting, acts as patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, PACU supplies and equipment, and pharmacological agents.
The Innovative Call RN -will be scheduled five (5) twelve (12) hour shifts, Sunday 1900 through Friday 0700. - This position will serve as the first call for surgical services relief after hours. - Additionally, the RN holding this bid is exempt from the weekly call rotation but will rotate through the holiday call rotation. Actual hours worked on a holiday will be paid at time and one-half (1 1/2) and the Innovative Call RN will not be required to use PAL time to equal eight (8) hours on holidays. - RNs in this position will be paid a minimum of forty (40) hours per week at their base rate of pay. Overtime will be paid on any actual hours worked above forty (40) hours in a work week.
Minimum Required: - -RN License required. -3-5 years OR Circulator experience in multiple service lines. BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire, ACLS and PALS within six (6) months of hire. Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.
Preferred / Desired: -BSN Preferred. Prefer CNOR Certification. -
On Call / Weekend Requirements: -Yes, permanent Call position including Holiday On-Call.
